Shannon McLean, AIGA

Trained as a graphic designer, Shannon also has expertise in information architecture, programming, and systems, both physical and digital. Shannon is adept in making large sets of data legible and accessible, as demonstrated in their work for Imagine Boston 2030.

Since joining OverUnder, Shannon has operated at the intersection of architecture and experience design. Shannon has been crucial to developing comprehensive wayfinding programs for MASS MoCA, MIT's Department of Urban Studies and Planning, and several colleges at Harvard University. At Harvard’s Graduate School of Design, OverUnder hosted an three-day charrette to engage project stakeholders in the design process. Strategic and collaborative planning is a critical component to Shannon’s approach to design; one that is accessible, inclusive, and participatory.
